Inspire | Truth: Would It Be Wrong?

As false as it sounds, I always tell the truth. Okay, that should be a joke. I am not a saint, and I do lie. And I most times lie, without the difficulty to tell the truth, but the perceived inability of the recipient to handle it well.

That girl knows the relationship will most likely crash after two months, but will prefer we go all the way to initiate it (is that to make me appear a liar after two months?). If I had told you straight out that I like you and I will like us to have some great moments together, and we did and parted ways happily after few months, would it be wrong?

Some people find it hard to take the truth, and to those alone, I happily lie. But some people also find it hard to tell the truth, no matter how undue. These are the set of people I will like to ask if they fear losing their mouth at the utterance of simple truth or what?

You lie about where you are coming from, where you are going to, what you ate for breakfast, your origin, your family, your siblings, and even your name — who are you? Telling a simple truth, would it be wrong?

Some people have lied so much that any sound they make is considered as a lie. If that guy should snore, please poke him and you will hear him laugh out loud. How do you lie so much that you don’t even know the truth about yourself any longer?

Be truthful about your relationship status; you’re bound to meet people who will still love to get intimate with you notwithstanding. Giving people the belief that you are having only them on board but finding out later that you lied hurts, even beyond forgiving and forgetting sometimes.

And how do you expect your friend to feel when he or she discovers that you lied about some very important issues? Many things are put at stake and many destinies may change at every false utterance. So please, always try to speak the truth of things — it can never be wrong.
