I want a happy ending
And a new beginning
We wish plenty in life
I want it that way
But difficult to do as we say
Striving hard for a clean sheet
But life has filthy feet…
We, most times, play with life
Like it has naught but smiles
Making the right seems wrong to choose
Aftermath presents the shocking truth…
This life is so unfair
No good without evil share
No smiles if you do not cry
And you have to fall to rise…
Life teaches with mistakes
Let us regret no step we take
Even as we wish back the hands of time
Let us continue with smiles…
